ANTONY JACCODUL

Antony Jaccodul is a Director at the Kenya Healthcare Federation. He is also the founder and Chief Executive Officer for Keton Consulting, an organization that focuses on improving lab practice, total quality management, molecular medicine and quality diagnostics in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Zambia.

Mr. Jaccodul has over 12 years’ experience in healthcare leadership and managed several institutions in the field of Invitro Diagnostics, Clinical Laboratory Practice, Quality Management and Conformity Assessment before venturing into health entrepreneurship. As a subject matter Expert, he sits in Technical Committee 175 at Kenya Bureau of Standards(KEBS), Scientific Advisory Board for European Society for External Quality Assessment, Technical Assessors Panel for ISO17043 and 15189 at Kenya Accreditation Service(KENAS),Technical Auditor Panel ISO 9001:2015 at SGS, Chief Editor Lab Africa Magazine and Ministry of Health National Response Task Force for Covid-19. He is also a Director at Kenya Healthcare Federation, Africa Society for Laboratory Medicine, East Central and Southern Africa College of Medical Laboratory Science, Association of Kenya Medical Laboratory Scientific Officers. A Guest Columnist Business Daily Newspaper on health topical matters and A judge for Quality Healthcare Kenyan Awards for the year 2021. 

Antony has worked with several organizations in various projects such as joint inspection checklist -World Bank, Health Systems Strengthening CDC/AMREF, ISO 17043 Mentorship- Uganda Virus Research Institute, Strategic Plan Development -Metromed healthcare, ISO 13528 Statistics for PT- University of Maryland, ISO 9001:2015 Certification Audit for MOH headquarters -Afya House through SGS, Calibration labs setup in Kenya, Uganda, Zambia-American International Healthcare Alliance, Molecular Covid 19Support- FHI360 Ethiopia, Biosafety and Biosecurity project- MTRH among others.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Nairobi, a BSC in Medical Laboratory Science from Kenyatta University and Several short Courses in Health Service Management, Quality Standards Development and Entrepreneurship.
