The Quality Healthcare Kenyan Awards (QHKA) has announced nominees in 14 categories of the 3rd QHKA edition.

The QHKA takes health systems strengthening approach to improve the quality of health service delivery in Kenya by recognizing outstanding contributions to the Kenyan health sector, promoting a culture of continuous Quality Improvement, advocating for strong partnerships between health providers and users, fostering innovation and the use of information technology, and sharing best practices for benchmarking as Kenya scales up Universal Health Coverage.

The judging process was carried out by an independent judging panel representing various stakeholders to ensure integrity, inclusion, credibility, and transparency. The nominees in each award category are listed in alphabetical order.

Winners will be announced during the Quality Healthcare Kenyan Awards gala dinner ceremony set to be held on 7th April 2022 at Safari Park Hotel under the theme “Quality and Universal Health Coverage”; which will coincide with World Health Day.

The Quality Healthcare Kenyan Awards is a brainchild of Zawadi Brand Solutions (ZBS Ltd) and works in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Amref Health Africa. The initiative has been financially supported by various partners including the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and SafeCare.
